Lori Alessandrini is the owner, licensed aesthetician, and certified laser technician of Essential Aesthetics and Laser. Before skincare, she spent 22 years as a certified medical assistant — that clinical background shapes how she builds every treatment plan.
She trained at Miller-Motte College and holds additional certification in European aesthetics techniques. Her goal is relationships, not appointments.

Lori spent 22 years as a certified medical assistant before launching Essential Aesthetics and Laser. That background gives her a different eye — she approaches skin the way a clinician does, with patience, a plan, and genuine attention to the individual. She's trained in European aesthetics techniques, certified as a laser technician, and holds licenses across a wide range of treatments. She graduated from the aesthetics program at Miller-Motte College, where she earned a place on the President's List.
Dr. Alessandrini is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and serves as Medical Director of Essential Aesthetics and Laser. He holds a dental degree from the University of Connecticut and a medical degree earned during his six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Louisville. He's been practicing in Charlotte since 2006 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Lori and Dr. Alessandrini are married and run this as a family practice.
